About Us - The Lions, Lioness & Leo Clubs of District 201 C2
Lions Clubs are part of community life, in the cities and in the country. Clubs are easily identified by their distinctive Logo, the trademark of the Association, and the 'We Serve'; motto seen on road signs throughout the country. Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing.
Clubs may either provide service or raise money for their community.
Most of the money raised goes back into the community, either directly or indirectly through National and International Projects.
The C2 Lions District incorporates a diverse and widely spread area across Australia encompassing Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs from the four states of South Australia, Victoria, New South wales and Northern Territory.
It includes 61 Lions Clubs, 2 Lioness and 2 Leo clubs.
It reaches in the south from the Limestone Coast region of SE South Australia, includes Kangaroo Island, half of Metropolitan Adelaide and out through the Riverland to Sunraysia in Victoria and then northwards to Broken Hill in NSW. The state of the NT then completes this diverse spread across Australia from the Southern Ocean to the Arafura Sea in the north.
